Shaggy, flat and strong top coat with a soft furry under coat
Grooming:

Needs daily brushing and general attention

51-56 cms. 20-22 ins.
Average Weight:

18-27 kgs. 40-60 lbs.
Colour:

Generally a mixture of colours including slate grey, black, blue, sandy and usually with white markings.
Temperament:

They are lively and good company. Their nature encourages close bonding and their gentle behaviour makes them good with children and ideal family pets. Loves to be part of a family and good with other pets.
 Exercise:

Needs lots of exercise but can often entertain themselves
Average Lifespan: 

12-13 yrs.
Possible Disadvantages

Can be prone to chasing other dogs (in a playful way). Coat can need a lot of attention especially in wet muddy conditions. Sometimes over sensitive to harsh commands and noises.
