General Description

A home loving dog that happens to be the fastest dog in the world. This tall, sleek, elegant dog Greyhounds run at breakneck speed in short bursts but at home like nothing better than sleeping on your couch.
Suitable Owners

Laid back owners who enjoy short energetic walks an preferably have access to open, safe areas for these walks.
Origins

An ancient breed known to have been around for over 5000 years. Used as sight hounds, using their excellent eyesight and incredible speed to flush and "course" game.

Temperament:

 Loyal, affectionate, calm dogs with a wonderful even temper. Loves human company and belonging to a family, despite appearances loves to relax at home.after walks. Love children and are generally very affectionate.

 Medium exercise requirements but does like to run off the leash in a safe area.

11-12 yrs.
