A larger version of the Miniature Poodle they are often thought of as show dogs clipped in often extrordinary ways, but if their coats are left as nature intended they make handsome, intelligent and lively pets and companions.

Originates from Germany where poodles were bred as water retrievers the Mimiature poodle is now bred as a companion dog.
