General Description

This jaunty dog is full of energy, alert and curious, a typical terrier
Suitable Owners

Active, energetic owner who enjoys walks and play but can command respect from this sometimes obstinate dog
Origins

Otiginally bred to hunt foxes, rabbits and rats.

 Dense and very wiry
Grooming:

 Strip coat about every 6 months, sheds little or no hair
Average Height:

 38-39 cms. 14-15 ins.
Average Weight:

 7-8 kgs. 15 18 lbs.
Colour:

 Mainly white often with black and/or tan markings
Temperament:

 Very terrier like, quick, alert and feisty. Freindly, extrovert, curious and often quite stubborn. Moderately easy to train, good with kids and great watchdogs but can be aggressive with other dogs.
 Exercise:

 Needs lots of exercise to avoid boredom
Average Lifespan: 

13-14 yrs.

Can bark a lot and often aggressive to other animals.
